But in reviews, I found that it is about 1.5 times more powerful on the average; not bad but then, not as dramatic as I expected.  I am waiting for the mid-range to low range cards now. Finally a quad-core that all people can afford.  It costs only $99.  For that, you can get a dual-core from Intel (which I think is way overpriced).  Hats off to  AMD for bringing the price of quad-core down so that any person can buy it.  But Intel also has a similar tactics up its sleeve, the Q7000s, but I doubt if it will fall in a similar price range.
